Amid the controversial breakup, Joshua Garcia admitted he is still in love with ex-girlfriend Julia Barretto.
It was late June when Joshua confirmed their separation after two years of being a couple. Both said they have managed to become “best of friends.”
“Espesyal siya, mahal ko pa rin ‘yung tao na ‘yon, ang tagal naming nagsama. At least hindi nawala yung friendship namin. ‘Yun na lang ang ipinapagsalamat ko,” Joshua said in an ABS-CBN article.Prodded if he would still want to get back together with Julia given a chance, the young actor simply leaves it up to fate.Joshua stressed it was mutual decision for them to end the relationshipStill, Joshua made clear their onscreen tandem, known as JoshLia, will continue to exist.
Pointing to their fans, he promised: “Ang mensahe ko for them huwag na silang malungkot kasi hindi naman mawawala ‘yung JoshLia. Gagawa pa rin kami ng mga pelikula, may mga project na pagsasamahan, magkakatrabaho naman kami.”
