Captado en video: Un robo violento en el medio del día que la policía describió como una escena de película fue capturado en un video de vigilancia en una joyería en la comunidad de La Verne.
Momentos después, se ve a cuatro personas invadiendo el negocio y agarrando mercadería, algunas usando martillos para abrir cajas de joyas. Se ve a un ladrón arrojando una silla a alguien justo fuera de la vista de la cámara.
“Ahora me estaciono en la parte de atrás por la noche y salgo con gas pimienta en la mano y mis llaves listas porque nunca se sabe”, dijo Kristin Glass, una empleada del centro comercial. “Uno de los sospechosos actuó como guardia de los otros tres y se interpuso entre los sospechosos que robaban y donde estaba el dueño. Cogió una silla y lo golpeó en la cabeza”, dijo el teniente Cory Leeper del Departamento de Policía de La Verne.
