Elvis star Austin Butler becomes the Fantastic Four's Human Torch in a brand new piece of fan art after rumors began to swirl that the actor was eager to take on the role. Butler has enjoyed a successful year following the release of Baz Luhrmann's Elvis, the highly-anticipated biopic that follows the story of music icon Elvis Presley.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY As Butler now looks to his next role, rumors recently circulated on social media that the actor was pushing to be considered for the role of the Human Torch, otherwise known as Johnny Storm, in Marvel's upcoming Fantastic Four film. Now, this interesting casting has been imagined by @clements.ink on Instagram who has transformed Butler into the Human Torch.
Earlier this year, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness shocked audiences with its introduction of Earth-838's Reed Richards, played by John Krasinski, who was the subject of fan-casting for years. With Krasinski having since shared that he is not expecting to return to the role of the Fantastic Four leader, the four roles remain entirely open for the taking.
When Does Marvel's Fantastic Four Release? The Fantastic Four's MCU debut is still a long way off with the heroes not set to land on the big screen until 2025, however, this hasn't stopped audiences from sharing their favorite picks for who should take on these iconic roles.
