Eero scrubs its cheapest subscription plan, moves customers to $10 a month service

A subscription is not required to use Eero devices, but without one, you can’t set parental controls or see how devices behave on your network, including how much data is being used. The new Eero Plus is the same price and has the same features as Eero Secure Plus. Eero says it will add an internet backup service in the coming months.
