Rainfall records were shattered in parts of San Diego last night. In Oceanside Harbor, 4.21 inches of rain was reported, breaking 1982 record of 0.6 inches. In Vista, 2.24 inches of rain was reported, breaking the 2003 record of 0.73 inches.
SAN DIEGO – Record rainfall was reported today in parts of San Diego County by the National Weather Service.
In Oceanside Harbor, 4.21 inches of rain was reported, breaking the record for the day of 0.6 inches in 1982.In Alpine, 1.80 inches of rain was reported, breaking the record for the day of 1.61 inches in 1952.In Campo, 1.17 inches of rain was reported, breaking the record for the day of 0.86 inches in 1987.
More rain is in the forecast for Friday through Sunday with light winds and temperatures in the 60s. It will be partly cloudy and breezy with highs from 60 to 65 Thursday in San Diego.
