Wide receiver Ethan Wyatt of Klein Collins caught a 75-yard touchdown pass from Carson Horton of Dayton with 6:42 left in the second quarter for the only points the East needed in creating a 6-0 cushion. The East scored first at 6:55 of the second quarter on a 75-yard flea flicker touchdown pass from Horton to Wyatt.
The East’s second TD featured one of the few sustained drives of the night, covering 46 yards in seven plays.
