One of five workers accused of sexually abusing inmates at a federal women’s prison in Dublin has pleaded guilty and could face up to two years in prison.
OAKLAND — One of five workers accused of sexually abusing inmates at a federal women’s prison in California pleaded guilty on Thursday, prosecutors said.
Federal prosecutors said Chavez, 50, was a food service foreman there two years ago when he locked the door to the pantry and fondled an inmate.
