A stoppage time goal by Sam Junqua gave the Dynamo FC a 2-1 victory over the Rio Grande Valley FC Toros on Tuesday night in the third round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup at PNC Stadium.
Each team had netted an own goal before Junqua headed in the game-winner in the third minute of stoppage time to give the MLS team a victory over its former affiliate from the USL Championship.The Dynamo took a 1-0 lead in the ninth minute on an own goal by RGV’s Frank Nodarse. The Dynamo’s Teenage Hadebe returned the favor in the 48th minute.
