Southbound commercial traffic is being redirected off Route 15 at the Route 74 in Dillsburg to avoid the closed areas, PennDOT spokeswoman Fritzi Schreffler said.
A crash, which authorities have connected to a fatal crash from Friday afternoon, closed a second section of southbound Route 15 in Adams County.
PennDOT said police activity closed southbound lanes at a crash around 4:30 p.m. between Exit: PA 134 - Taney Town Road and Exit: US 15 - Steinwehr Avenue in Cumberland Township.. between Latimore Valley Road, Mountain Road and Exit: PA 94 Hanover/York Springs, in Latimore Township, and there is a fatality, PennDOT spokeswoman Fritzi Schreffler confirmed.
Schreffler said one driver from that first crash drove away from the scene and then crashed at Exit: PA 134. There is no fatality in the second crash. Southbound commercial traffic is being redirected off Route 15 at the Route 74 in Dillsburg to avoid the closed areas, Schreffler said.
