Driver crashes SUV into Lemon Grove restaurant, injures one [Breaking]
One person was injured after a driver crashed an SUV into a restaurant Monday afternoon in Lemon Grove, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department said.
The crash happened just after 1 p.m. at the Sabor Mexican Grill, located in a shopping center near Broadway Lane and Massachusetts Avenue, according to Lt. Ryan Wisniewski. A patron at the restaurant was injured, but the extent of those injuries was unknown, the lieutenant said.It was unclear what caused the driver of the Lexus SUV to crash into the restaurant or how much of the business was damaged, according to sheriff’s officials.Staff writer Caleb Lunetta contributed to this report.
