UPDATE: A driver has been accused of manslaughter after a deadly crash that left a man dead and a woman critically injured in west Phoenix on Sunday.
Police say David Leeshawn Johnson, 30, was driving south down 43rd Avenue with a female passenger when he suddenly crossed over into the northbound lanes, colliding head-on with another car going the opposite
direction.Johnson and the female passenger were both hospitalized, but the 30-year-old was eventually released. The woman is still in the hospital in critical condition.Impairment is suspected to be a factor in the crash.
