A man pumping gas in East Oakland was wounded in a drive-by shooting Wednesday afternoon.
OAKLAND — A drive-by shooter wounded a 46-year-old man pumping gas Wednesday afternoon at an East Oakland station, authorities said.The shooting happened about 4:39 p.m. Wednesday at 90th and Bancroft avenues.
Police said a man was pumping gas at a station at the intersection when someone in an SUV driving southbound on 90th Avenue began shooting at him. Despite being wounded, the man was able to drive to his nearby residence, where police and paramedics were called.
