showed that Sexton told police that he stopped in Indianapolis to meet someone at a bar following a show in Portland, Indiana on Dec. 11. Police say that Sexton referred to the other person as “his girlfriend,” Fox 59 reports, but added that they were both “currently married to other people.”
Police said Sexton was not able to describe the vehicle in great detail, calling it only “some kind of sedan,” but he did claim that he got a clear view of the shooter’s face, they say. And, Sexton told them the shooter was Paul Berkemeir, his “girlfriend’s husband.” Fox 59 said court documents show that police said they used cell phone records to place Berkemeir in the area of the shooting. They also said they have footage of a silver sedan with blue headlights and dark-tinted windows following Baker’s rental car. They say Berkemeir owns a silver Acura with blue headlights and dark-tinted windows.
Sexton reportedly suffered injuries to his ear and cheek which police reported were consistent with glass being blown on his face.
