Ricky Stenhouse Jr. edges out Joey Logano to win NASCAR’s biggest race
The NASCAR Cup Series opened its regular season with the 65th running of the “Great American Race,” the biggest event on its calendar.
Stenhouse, who is in his 11th full season, beat out a star-studded field that included motocross star Travis Pastrana and past champions Denny Hamlin and Jimmie Johnson. It was the longest race in the event’s history, marred by multiple cautions and crashes at the end.
