Bridalwear chain David’s Bridal is eyeing a sale as it looks to lay off as many as 9,000 workers nationwide.
reported WARN notices filed in Pennsylvania indicated as many as 9,236 workers will be laid off across the U.S. Layoffs have already started and will last through August.The company said it is currently “evaluating our strategic options and a sale process is underway.”reported the layoffs come as the company eyes filing for bankruptcy for the second time in five years. The sale, the report added, could be part of the chain’s restructuring plan.
