Dr. Lori Suski brings more than 32 years of experience in public education to her new role.Dr. Lori A. Suski has been appointed by the Dauphin County Court of Common Pleas to serve as the new receiver court for Harrisburg School District effective yesterday.
Suski has been serving in the role of the chief recovery officer for the district since Sept. 13, 2021, upon her retirement as Superintendent of Schools for Middletown Area School District a couple of weeks before that, a press release said. Previously, Suski served on the Harrisburg School District Act 141 Advisory Committee from December 2018 as a superintendent of a neighboring school district until the time of her appointment by Pa. Secretary of Education Noe Ortega as the new CRO for the district.
Suski has more than 32 years of experience in public education, having served as a teacher and assistant principal in Central Dauphin School District, and as a principal, assistant superintendent, and superintendent of schools in Middletown Area School District. During her tenure as superintendent, she also served on the Dauphin County Drug & Alcohol Advisory Board and the Penn State Harrisburg Board of Advisers, the release said.
