As of Wednesday, an excessive heat warning remains in effect for all of South Central Texas through 9 p.m.
The National Weather Service expects extreme heat conditions to last through the remainder of the month.No significant relief is in sight as sweltering heat continues to scorch parts of Central Texas, bringing triple-digit temperatures that are expected to last through the end of the month.
As of Wednesday, an excessive heat warning remained in effect for all of South and Central Texas through 9 p.m. While the National Weather Service expects temperatures to dip slightly on Thursday and Friday, temperatures are still forecast to soar into the 100s.“There’s not really going to be any rest for the weary in terms of heat,” National Weather Service meteorologist Andrew Quigley said.
An Excessive Heat Warning will remain in effect through 9pm with conditions similar to yesterday. Isolated strong to severe storms are possible mainly for northern areas 2pm-11pm. A couple"cooler" days Thur/Fri, then hotter again this weekend through the end of the month.
