With a stellar cast and a memorable soundtrack full of original rock ‘n’ roll music – it's not surprising that critics had a lot to say about Daisy Jones & the Six. Adapted from Taylor Jenkins Reid’s 2019 novel of the same name, Daisy Jones & the Six charts the rise and fall of a fictional band in the Los Angeles music scene of the 1970s.

The miniseries adaptation was spearheaded by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber, the screenwriting duo behind such acclaimed literary adaptations as The Spectacular Now and The Fault in Our Stars.
In Screen Rant’s Daisy Jones & the Six review, Mae Abdulbaki praised the series as “charming, enigmatic, and honest,” and wrote that its story and characters “will certainly leave a lasting impact” on viewers. It’s easier to describe a character exuding star power in a novel than it is to reflect the indescribable X-factor of an icon like Stevie Nicks in a TV adaptation, but critics agreed that Keough made an admirable effort to bring Daisy to life.
Stream Daisy Jones & The Six On Prime Video Daisy Jones & the Six is available to stream on Prime Video. In order to promote the series, Amazon set up a whole tie-in storefront page full of Daisy Jones & the Six merchandise for fans to purchase. This included the novel the show was based on, but also included the band’s album Aurora and “Shop the Look” pages for each major character, allowing fans to buy their wonderfully retro outfits.
