Corbin Carroll delivered a walk-off single in the 10th inning to lift the Arizona Diamondbacks to a 3-2 win against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday afternoon in the second game of a three-game series in Phoenix.
Alek Thomas homered for the Diamondbacks, who ended a four-game losing streak in the series opener on Friday night.
Mitch Keller allowed one hit over seven shutout innings. He struck out four and walked five for the Pirates, who have lost four in a row and seven of eight. Geraldo Perdomo then sacrificed the runners over and Ketel Marte was walked intentionally to load the bases for Corbin, who delivered the game-winner into right on a 2-2 pitch.
