We speak to WithLove stars Constance Marie (goconstance) & Benito Martinez (BMartinezREAL1) about how Beatriz and Jorge Sr. work together to mend their marriage in season 2 of the PrimeVideo series:
Six new episodes of With Love will be available to stream exclusively on Prime Video beginning June 2. While season 1 saw Lily's parents, Jorge Sr. and Beatriz , struggling to keep their marriage afloat, season 2 is already looking more optimistic for the couple. A near-death experience in the finale caused both characters to recognize the love they have for one another, inspiring them to do whatever it takes to keep the family together.
Constance Marie & Benito Martinez Talk With Love Season 2 Screen Rant: Out of all the couples in the show, I adored the storyline between your characters the most. They were just a great representation of how love isn’t easy, and you have to work at it every day. Coming into season 2, how might we continue to see Beatriz and Jorge fight for their relationship?
They're in this bubble. There's stuff below and there's stuff above, but within your own space, it's very important, and you have to keep it down, you have to hold it down. You have to make sure all that stuff you've worked hard for is still available to you, and you're planning for your future, and you're able to celebrate your past, and our characters get to look at each other and go, "That's my partner.
And also, how it can make your children uncomfortable when you are a fully rounded sexual being, and that's also a wonderful part of it. Gloria writes something that is so real that it's not hard to play. It makes you feel comfortable, and having Benito as a partner, is just a wonderful, wonderful helper for my uncomfortable sexual awkwardness that I might have. [Laughs] But it's just done all with love.
