The victim of a deadly accident in Boerne this morning was a truck driver from Kerrville.
“At this time, it is believed McGee was outside of his truck for unknown reasons when he was struck by a passing motorist,” a police spokesperson said.
Police said McGee’s truck was pulled over on the right-hand shoulder of the interstate and that the headlights were on, a right-side blinker was flashing, but the emergency flashers were not activated. The driver of the passenger vehicle that struck the victim immediately pulled over and remained at the scene.Click the links below for current road closures.
