ICYMI: CoinShares reports drop in earnings amid crypto market slump
The asset manager said it deployed $313m across a range of DeFi protocols, including Anchor, TrueFi and Maple Finance.European digital asset manager CoinShares reported declining first-quarter profit as trading revenue sank.
"While the market conditions of Q1 2021 were such that significant opportunities existed for the group’s delta neutral trading strategies, the main driver of the business unit’s performance in Q1 2022 was DeFi related staking and lending activities," CoinShares said in the statement.
