Signs at the store say “Store closing”, “Entire store on sale!” and “Everything must go”.
Harrisburg Mall owners want to demolish most of it, build stores, offices in its placeSt. John Properties, the owner of the Harrisburg Mall, plans to demolish the mall, except for the anchor store Bass Pro Shops, and in its place build a retail-oriented development with multi-use business space to appeal to medical offices, daycares, schools, light manufacturing and general offices, among other uses.
The Harrisburg Mall has about 34 tenants. Chains that remain at the mall include Bath & Body Works, Champ Sports, Bass Pro Shops, LensCrafters, DXL Men’s Apparel, 2nd & Charles, Wells Fargo, Metro by T-Mobile, Foot Locker, Rainbow Shops, AT&T, Applebee’s, and H&R Block.
