Clements boys, George Ranch girls take momentum into Region V-6A swimming and diving championships
Clements senior Logan Brown now owns District 20-6A records in the 200-yard individual medley and 100-yard breaststroke.The Clements boys and George Ranch girls will take District 20-6A crowns to this week's Region V-6A swimming and diving championships, which run Thursday-Saturday at the Cy-Fair ISD Natatorium.
The Rangers won seven events and broke six 20-6A records in amassing 153 points, finishing ahead of Austin , Dulles and George Ranch , among others. Bellotti won the 50-yard freestyle with a district-record 20.32 and added a pool record with a 48.38 in the 100-yard butterfly. The Ridge Point team of Emma Friedman, Ella Canetti, Brooke Powers and Sadie Bird won the 400 free relay.
