Chula Vista police investigating crash and nearby shooting; 2 people critically injured [Breaking]
Paramedics took two critically injured people to a hospital Tuesday night following a reported shooting and vehicle crash in Chula Vista, police said.
The incident was reported about 7:45 p.m. on Brandywine Avenue near Sequoia Street, a little south of Olympic Parkway and east of Interstate 805, Deaner said. Multiple 911 callers reported hearing several gunshots and then a vehicle wreck.
