Comedian Chris Rock declined to file a police report following the shocking moment when Will Smith slapped him in the face while onstage at the 2022 Academy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday.
While Rock was presenting the nominees for best documentary, he took aim at Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, for sporting a new bald-headed hairdo.The Los Angeles Police Department issued a statement, obtained by ABC News, that casts further doubt upon the idea that the altercation was staged.
