Veteran right-hander Chris Bassitt reportedly agreed to a three-year deal to join the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday. Bassitt spent last season with the New York Mets.

Like Bassitt, starter Taijuan Walker left the Mets’ rotation to sign elsewhere, joining the Philadelphia Phillies on a four-year, $72 million deal.The Blue Jays sported a 92-70 record last season, earning themselves an American League wild-card berth. They would fall to the Seattle Mariners in the three-game series.
