A spokesperson for Liberty Elementary School District says an eighth-grade student was hit near Estrella Parkway and Elliot Road while coming home from school.A 13-year-old, headed home from school, hit by a white Ford truck at San Gabriel and 182nd Drive in Goodyear.
“Our message to the driver is please turn yourself in, this is a family that is impacted, think about it if this was your child,” said Lisa Berry of Goodyear Police. ”I think it’s unfortunate it has to a point like this for some people to realize it’s going,” said Dennis Ruiz.
