The shooting happened outside a Walgreens near West 47th Street and South Western Avenue in the city's Brighton Park neighborhood. Chicago police said just before 5 p.m., the male, whose age is not known, was on the sidewalk when a car pulled up and someone inside pulled out a gun and opened fire.A Chicago Fire Department spokesperson said another person was taken to a local hospital in good condition. Police said that person was not shot but it wasn't immediately clear if they were hit by glass or something else.Walgreens released a statement, saying, "Our thoughts are with the families of the victims.
