We’ve watched them campaign in churches, community centers, train stations, art galleries and restaurants, from the Far South Side to Austin and Edgewater. Along the way, the contenders have tried to lay out an optimistic vision for the city’s future while taking questions from skeptical voters — and bad-mouthing their opponents.
