The Commission on Elections has yet to approve ex-National Youth Commission chairperson Ronald Cardema's bid to become the substitute nominee for the Duterte Youth party-list group, a poll commissioner said Monday.
The party-list will need to secure 2 percent of the total votes in the party-list race to get at least one slot in the lower chamber during the first round of seat allocation. A party-list group can get up to as many as 3 seats. "These are the substantive issues that are still being discussed. First of all, the age...I don't know exactly how old the guy is and 2nd as to the timing there are some overlapping rules that would impact that kaya pinag-aaralan 'yan ng mabuti," Jimenez said.
