Its 2012 counterpart boasts the same naturally-aspirated V12 GT formula, with Aston Martin’s current design boss Marek Reichman taking Callum’s later DB9 and modernising it with the Aston Martin motif we now know well. In S form, its 5.9-litre naturally-aspirated V12 produces 595bhp and 465lb ft of torque, a considerable 135bhp and 65lb ft jump over the original.
Though their more recent GT rivals might provide more performance and refinement, these naturally-aspirated V12 GT Aston Martin are something we’ll never see again, making the pair something truly special.
