CapMetro is also offering alternative bus routes from most MetroRail stations that will take you close to downtown but not directly to the Downtown Station.
AUSTIN, Texas — MetroRail service will be suspended from Friday, July 15 through Saturday, July 23 for maintenance along the 32-mile rail line. There will be no service during this time.
Instead, there will be a shuttle from the Leander, Lakeline and Howard stations to bring passengers to the Downtown Station. Capital Metro is also offering alternative bus routes from most MetroRail stations that will take you close to downtown but not directly to the Downtown Station.
