Activision, the company behind the popular Call of Duty series, complied with the streamer's request. Nickmercs had his"skin" removed after he came under fire for invoking a homophobic dog whistle during a stream, the report noted."Friends are created in good times, but families are built through adversity," he tweeted.
In the wake of Activision's removal of Nickmercs's likeness, many on social media have come to the streamer's defense.
