California has been a sanctuary state since 2017, committed to being a haven for illegal immigrants regardless of where they come from. Unless they are escorted there by Florida. Then there must be a full investigation.

More than a dozen illegal immigrants arrived in Sacramento via private plane, and California officials were outraged. According to California Attorney General Rob Bonta, “Today I met with over a dozen migrants who were brought to Sacramento by private plane, with no prior arrangement or care in place. We are investigating the circumstances by which these individuals were brought to California.

So if Florida officials told illegal immigrants California is a sanctuary state that will welcome and protect them, and those illegal immigrants decided to head to California, were they being misled? Does California no longer believe the sanctuary state commitment it made?
