Bugatti needs a bigger factory to neet sales demand.
. That said, Bugatti has been on a bit of a roll as of late, with 2022 representing the brand’s highest volume sales year to date thanks to some 80 units sold. The Chiron itself sold out all the way back in January of 2022, with the final model being completed by December of that year. Known as the
, the Pur Sport-based model would go on to sell for a record $10.8 million at auction in February 2023. Bugatti is currently working on wrapping development of its track-only Bolide model, with deliveries slated to start some time in 2024.previously confirming the car will utilize a hybridized powertrain in place of a pure-electric alternative. The car is also said to share no components with the Chiron or the Nevera, keeping in line with the exclusivity the brand has come to represent.
To support the growing hypercar endeavor, Bugatti will add a new two-story building to their site in Molsheim. The company says the new facility will measure in at 22,820 square feet. The building will sit next to the current main production building, with construction slated for the second half of 2024. The building will host both management personnel, as well as part of the brand’s production team. In order to staff that building, Bugatti has also announced a new recruitment drive.
