Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Buffy the Vampire Slayer gets a sequel 20 years after the finale. The news of a revived take on Buffy gained steam in 2018, as it was announced that development had begun on a reboot of the iconic supernatural drama.
It's now confirmed that a new audio-only release, titled, Slayers: A Buffyverse Story will be set 20 years after the series finale. James Marsters will be back as Spike. He'll reprise his role alongside Charisma Carpenter , Anthony Head , Juliet Landau , Emma Caulfield , Amber Benson , James Charles Leary and Danny Strong , along with newcomer Laya DeLeon Hayes. The audio-only story debuts October 12 on Audible.
