I just did a tour in China and there are so many amazing clubs there. TAG in Chengdu especially has a perfect vibe. It’s on the top floor of a skyscraper, the entrance is totally unmarked, you just have to know what building and what elevator to take. The main room is dark and smokey and the dancers are pretty much down to keep going forever.
Hugo Sanchez. He’s a legend in Italy, but I don’t feel like so many people have heard him in the U.S. He’s half of the production duo Front De Cadeux. He plays this slow, trippy, sexy vibe and he’s famous for long sets. I saw him play in Milan, and was just going to stop by for a second, but literally couldn’t pull myself away until the last song.
