Brooklyn detectives are on the hunt for the killer who shot a man dead on a residential block Wednesday afternoon.
Law enforcement sources said the homicide happened at about 5:44 p.m. on June 28 in front of a home on the 800 block of Ashford Street off Linden Boulevard in East New York., in responding to a 911 call about the shooting, found the 40-year-old man at the location with a bullet wound to his back.
Responding EMS units pronounced the man dead at the scene. Police have withheld his identity, pending family notification.
