Police are investigating a shooting that left a construction worker injured in Brooklyn on Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities say that at 3:52 p.m. on Dec. 14, a 55-year-old man was driving his van northbound on Rochester Avenue, and as he crossed the intersection at Eastern Parkway, he reportedly heard a loud boom. The man saw that his window was shot out and that he sustained a gunshot wound to his chest, causing him to pull over.Officers and Decetives from Brooklyn North attempt to piece together another shooting.
A preliminary investigation found that an unknown man fired a gun at a group of men at the location, and a round went through the victim’s van window, hitting him as a result. The suspect then fled the scene on foot, heading into the Crown Heights–Utica Avenue station. A worker from Phillips Carpenter and cleaning service was shot in the chest while driving through the intersection at Rochester Avenue and Eastern Parkway on Thursday afternoon.Officers and Decetives from Brooklyn North attempt to piece together another shooting.The NYPD released photos of the suspect taken from MTA surveillance footage. He is described as a man in his 20s with a thin build, large, black hair and a dark complexion.
