In this past offseason, the White Sox added AJ Pollock, Josh Harrison, and Reese McGuire to their lineup. All of them are at various levels of underperforming offensively.
Pollock's plate approach displays a concern that isn't unique to his at bats - much like many of the White Sox hitters, he's swinging at pitches outside of the zone.
