The body was discovered near 730 North Riverside Drive, police said. Officers responded just after 11 a.m.Salt Lake City homicide detectives and crime lab technicians are investigating, which the police department said is standard protocol. Three patrol vehicles were at the scene Thursday afternoon, which was located near an apparent homeless encampment on the bank of the river.
