BLACKPINK Sets New Historical Record By Surpassing 90 Million YouTube Subscribers
According to YG Entertainment, BLACKPINK surpassed 90 million subscribers on their official YouTube channel on July 17 at 5:36 a.m. KST. This is a record achieved in about seven years and one month since the channel’s launch in June 2016.
In July 2020, BLACKPINK became the first non-English language artist to be listed in the top five in terms of YouTube subscribers. In just a little over one year in September 2021, BLACKPINK was ranked as the No. 1 artist with the most subscribers on YouTube worldwide.80 million subscribers on their official YouTube channel in September last year, added another 10 million subscribers in less than a year, setting a new record by reaching the milestone for the first time in YouTube history.
