Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter and Black Pumas co-founder Eric Burton sings the national anthem before Game 1 of the World Series at Minute Maid Park on Friday, Oct. 28, 2022, in Houston.

" That threw him off and when a couple lines later he was supposed to sing,"O'er the ramparts we watch'd were so gallantly streaming," he repeated,"What so proudly we hail'd at the twilight's last streaming."The Black Pumas were nominated for a Grammy for Best New Artist in 2020. The group also received Grammy nominations for Record of the Year and Album of the Year in 2021 and two more nominations this year for Best Performance and Best Rock Album.
