LAKEWOOD, Colo. — A Black-owned sports bar in Lakewood is fighting to stay open after its liquor license was suspended. A Lakewood city councilwoman said the establishment is being"unfairly targeted."

Unfortunately, that love didn't last long when the City of Lakewood abruptly suspended Jumbo's liquor license. “I picked through some of the reports. I could see what was happening, that they are being unfairly targeted, in my opinion," said Lakewood City Councilwoman Anita Springsteen.
