'While I would have to give Biden the benefit of the doubt here that (I think) he does know his administration hasn’t cured cancer, the fact that Biden said this is extremely embarrassing. It’s also indicative of Biden’s repeated dishonesty...' -CWTremo

As a presidential candidate in 2020, President Joe Biden, who has been repeatedly caught lying during a political career that has spanned five decades, promised to be transparent and honest. He emphasized this as being in stark contrast to his opponent, then-President Donald Trump. Yet, nearly every day, Biden spreads misinformation or “misspeaks” with a gaffe that leaves viewers puzzled and confused. His latest error involved claiming that his administration had “ended cancer as we know it.

“One of the things I’m always asked is why Americans have sort of lost faith for a while in being able to do big things. If you could do anything at all, Joe, what would you do? I said I’d cure cancer,” Biden said. “They looked at me like, why cancer? Because no one thinks we can. That’s why, and we can. We ended cancer as we know it.”The White House attempted to cover up Biden’s statement when they released the official transcript of his comments.

It should also be noted how Democrats and the mainstream media protected Biden during his mishap. They largely reacted with kindness and understanding and excused it as merely misspeaking. Yet, these were the same group of people who were quick to attack and criticize Trump when he misspoke about COVID and injecting disinfectants.

Democrats and the mainstream media used Trump’s incident to portray him as completely incompetent and a threat to society. And while Republican commentators, pundits, and politicians pounced on Biden’s gaffe, it pales in comparison to the magnitude of the controversy and outrage surrounding Trump’s mistake.Biden’s incident is incredibly concerning.
