A look at one of The Flash movie's erased post-credits scenes has emerged online through new BTS photos, revealing Ben Affleck's silver-and-black Batman suit. Despite a lot of early hype, The Flash film ended up becoming one of Warner Bros. Discovery's biggest DC flops of all time. As of this week, The Flash is available on digital, with its Blu-Ray/DVD release scheduled for August 29.

One big change was the removal of Affleck's Batman, which can now be glimpsed thanks to a new post by The Flash Film News.
The two photos of Affleck at The Flash movie set reveal that there was a silver-and-black version of his Batman costume made. This was supposed to be part of The Flash movie post-credits scene, which ended up featuring Jason Momoa's Aquaman and George Clooney's Bruce Wayne.
The bigger mystery is not only how this suit came into play but what Batman was doing in this post-credits scene. It wouldn't have been shocking if this was meant to be the first reveal of Affleck's Batman after Barry reset the timeline to highlight that this was a different DCEU now. Instead, the appearance of George Clooney's Batman was played as a quick cameo for a laugh, cementing that Affleck's Batman really is finished on the big screen.
As exciting as it can be to see what could have been, this also just highlights the sizable changes The Flash went through during production. Some last-minute tweaks were likely in response to new creative control at DC, and the future of Batman had to change course. After the commercial failure of The Flash, time will tell how Barry's DCEU ending will be revisited moving forward.
