In between the steals, the youngster missed two free-throw attempts but he made up for that with the thefts. Obviously, the two steals also reduced the amount of time that the Lockdown, playing the game with only five players, could rally.
The Beast Mode began their day with another cliffhanger, nipping the Elite 15-14. The team had a seemingly comfortable 15-9 lead, before the Elite scored the game's last five points. But the Elite also missed four free-throw attempts in that same stretch, going 2-for-6. The Beast Mode trailed 7-6, before scoring six unanswered points to take the lead for good.
