Barbie and Oppenheimer make a truce in a new piece of fan art as their box office battle approaches. Since it was announced that Greta Gerwig's Barbie and Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer would release on the same day, the two films have entered into something of a rivalry.

Studios in Burbank, California. Honoring the original album cover, Murphy's character is depicted as being on fire.
It's worth noting that Oppenheimer is an R-rated, three hour drama about a historical figure, meaning the film was always likely going to lose against a family-friendly fantasy-comedy about a doll that most of the world is familiar with. Considering the type of film Oppenheimer is, an opening weekend in the $40 million to $50 million range is certainly nothing to sneeze out. Plus, while the opening weekend battle may be decided, the real test of both films will be in their longevity.
