At least two people were injured after a car crashed into two Long Island homes.The driver of a Mercedes Benz lost control of the car and hit a utility pole before colliding with two homes, authorities said.Officials say the driver of the car and a 37-year-old female passenger were removed from the car and taken to the hospital.

One car was upside down in the driveway and a hole was left in the side of a house."I thought it was lightning and thunder, next thing I knew I was upstairs in my room, I saw lights and ran downstairs, I didn't know where my son was and the next thing I saw was a big gaping hole in my house," Randy Spielberg said.
